In 1995, a puppy Rottweiler came to live at Sky Pine Vineyards. His name was Bob. Over the course of the next eleven vintages, Bob would co found the 15 acres of premium grapes, clinging to a steep mountainside, being part of the twenty four-seven efforts to create a unique vineyard, whose grapes are sought after by national wineries and the cult, boutique wine maker. Everyone who visited Sky Pine Vineyards, would bring foil wrapped, tasty treasures for Bob. His big fury neck was a legend of hug ability, followed by his warm and loving acceptance of all. In 2006, a few days before Thanksgiving, Bob told us his work was done, and that he needed to take his walk over the Rainbow Bridge. ---His love and devotion to Sky Pine Vineyards inspired this winery. -- Our love for Bob, required us to carry on in his memory.
