Mountain Rosé 2007
Our first offering will be the 2007 Mountain Rosé, not your father’s rose’, but a traditional dry wine, (think: Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, only red). Mountain merlot picked from the upper block rows in mid September, makes for a surprise of flavor, (afternoon delight), color and drinkability, paired alone as a pool side treat, or with pizza, pasta or fish. Release scheduled for June 2008.
Winemaker Greg Opitz, at Judd’s Hill Winery in Napa, handcrafted this perfect summer time selection, this vintage has great effervescences and wonderful fruit.
Silver Medal Winner at the 2009 San Francisco Wine Competition
